Topper weeds wake me up at dawn
gritty skin
from a sweaty sin.
Walked through a life one night
cleaned up for the beetles
abrasive beetles.
Chocolate dipped toes
California on my clothes.
Temperamental girls aren't so attractive
says the boy dressed in bones.
I cheated on land
for a slutty house, a friend of a friend.
Tried to reach deep but i couldn't get in.
Scum touching tiles of my kitchen floor,
the hounds will be coming through the back door.
Steroids killed the swelling heart.
I dissect each inch of me, peeling skin apart.
I heard it from a stranger in my head.
Dead cattle lined up along my bed.
Scum touching tiles of my kitchen floor
The hounds, I hear them coming, through the back door.
One coon hound came,
then two, then three.
1,000 dogs were after me.
From Rachael: So I came across [this] dated back when I was about 14-15. A couple of these were the darker—bloodier ones I had mentioned. Punctuation isn't correct, and I don't know the correct way to format any of it either....
